1. Rental Agreement Policy

To protect both our business and our customers, we require all renters to sign our rental agreement and liability waiver before receiving any equipment.

2. Loss and Damage Policy

To ensure the longevity and quality of our yard games, customers are responsible for returning all equipment in the same condition in which it was received, aside from normal use. Customers are responsible for any loss or damage that occurs to rental items during the rental period. This includes, but is not limited to, breakage, stains, missing pieces, theft, or damage due to improper use or exposure to weather. In the event that loss or damage occurs, the following amounts will be invoiced:

  • Excessive cleaning $25 per item
  • Moderate damage (broken parts that are repairable): $25–$75 per item
  • Major damage or total loss (beyond repair or missing): full replacement cost, based on the item’s value

3. Liability Policy

Customers agree to assume full responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of all rental items. Gather and Revel, its owners, agents, and employees are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages to persons or property resulting from the use or misuse of rented items.

Customers acknowledge that some rental items may involve physical activity or outdoor setup, and assume all risks associated with their use, including but not limited to tripping hazards, weather-related incidents, or improper setup by the client or guests.

4. Delivery & Pickup Policy

Delivery

For all deliveries, someone must be present at the agreed-upon location and time, as outlined in the Rental Terms, to accept the rental items. This ensures that items are received in good condition and placed as instructed. If no one is available upon delivery, we reserve the right to leave and reschedule at an additional delivery fee or cancel the delivery without refund. Please communicate any timing changes in advance to avoid delays or additional charges.

Pickup

At the end of the rental period, customers must have the equipment ready for pickup at the agreed-upon time and location as outlined in the Rental Terms. All items must be packed, clean, and ready for pickup. Failure to return equipment as scheduled will result in a $50 fee.

5. Usage and Care Policy

To ensure the best experience for all customers, any persons using the equipment are responsible for using the equipment as intended and following any provided instructions to prevent damage or injury. Games should be set up on appropriate surfaces, such as grass or pavement, and kept away from hazards like fire pits or pools. Equipment should not be left outdoors overnight or exposed to extreme weather, as prolonged exposure to rain, mud, or direct sunlight can cause damage. Before returning rentals, customers should remove any dirt or debris to help maintain the quality of our inventory. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in additional cleaning or repair fees.

6. Pricing and Payment Policy

To ensure a smooth and transparent rental process, we require full payment before delivery of the rentals. Our pricing structure is clearly outlined on our website, with rates based on the number of yard games rented, the duration of the rental, and any additional services such as delivery and/or pickup.

By submitting payment for your invoice, you acknowledge and agree to all policies and terms outlined on the Gather and Revel website. Your payment serves as acceptance of these terms.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change and life happens. We allow for cancellations to give our customers greater flexibility. The cancellation timelines and refunds are outlined below:

  • Full refund for cancellations made 14 or more days in advance of the rental date.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made 7 to 13 days prior to the rental date.
  • 25% refund for cancellations made 2 to 6 days prior to the rental date.
  • No refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental date.
